I opened up a new shop of gems, pretties and handmade supplies last week!
i just got started with a few items but will be posting more LOTS more in the upcoming weeks. I hope you see something you might like! take a peek....
Fall is one of my most favorite times of year. The air smells of earth and clay. The leaves are changing colors, then they fall and dance in the winds it looks like colored 'snow' falling to the ground. It is quite lovely and soothing. It is also time for cowls, arm warmers and wool jackets to come out and play AND keep us warm. I cannot wait to create with a big mug of apple cider by our fire place. Maybe reading a book... or three as well.
Stay warm, create and read!
Also.. here are some new creations in the works and will be posted this weekend. Enjoy!

Two posts in ONE day! What?! I know I know... stranger things have been known to happen....
I have been working like a mad women trying to get ready for Indie Banditas on Bainbridge Island, A huge consignment order plus get my shop stocked. So i took some pictures let me know what you think...
I hope that the new year is treating everyone well. It has been quite the year already, but for the better to be sure. I have a new baby nephew, his name is Alexander but I have decided to nickname him chubs, he is a doll. Also, I have been trying to keep my New years resolutions, try being the key word. What are some of your resolutions?
Mine: To walk more, spend more time with friends and family, make time to be outdoors, explore my city more, be frugal, use what i own, be more eco-consious, work harder on my business.
I hope to keep working on all if the above, daily.
SO Valentines day....do you celebrate? I am just curious. I told my husband when we first met that I am not a fan of valentines day, for a few reasons. I am allergic to chocolate, prefer real potted plants to cut and prefer to show affection daily to all my friends, family and loved ones. I was a spirited young one, but to tell the truth, I have kept up with this tradition. When others are expecting Tiffany packages he knows me better and surprises me with music, real flowers and something from Etsy just to surprise me. That is what love is about, yes?

I am back in school after a horrendous time for me last year... and well My english class is going ok, my Math however, is not. That is not to say that I havent sat down and tried to get it done, I have, really i have. I have just come to the conclusion that math just does not like ME. Yup. That is what came up with. I know, I know. Lame excuse, but its the only one i got so there! Its been cold, windy and rainy here in lovely Western Washington and I LOVE it. I love fall and winter. They just made me happy. I have also been working with my dear friend Devon ( she is a photographer!) and she has been giving me pointers, helping me take some Fabulous pictures and introduced me to Lightroom which just rocks my world! here are the pics for this week....

It is the middle of October and I find myself happy with the cold days and even colder night. This is the time for me to work late into the evenings with a nice cup of tea or hot cocoa. I especially love to walk at night with my 2 pups and husband, the brisk, clean air is just so soothing and mind clearing, I think. This is also the month that i start to really do some trades or purchase things for people on my christmas list. I was so lucky to get some wonderful items from great sellers! I have also been hard at work with some new items of my own... Take a look, tell me what you think. Happy harvest time!
